Finding Me.

This past year has been beyond crazy. Hectic. Busy. Chaotic. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. Through all the chaos I have come to find the artist that I am and want to be. The one that is more worried about the emotion rather than everyone staring at the camera. Don’t get me wrong we all love a “nice” photo with everyone looking, I’ll make sure to get that but I find that my passion lies in the little moments. The moments that we look past all the time, where Mom is comforting her child after a fall or the simple touch of Dad’s hands.

As a mother – of course I want to see images of my babies and whole family looking at the camera BUT what speaks to me even more is the little details. How their little hands fit into mine, the interaction – good or bad. I can’t get these moments back, they are only little for so long and it passes in the blink of an eye.  As you see my work continue on you will see my heart poured into my work so much more than before.

So for 2016 – I will no longer be photographing high school seniors.

I will be diving into doing more boudoir. Contact me for a discounted rate!

I will continue to photograph families, weddings, children, and newborns.

I’m going to keep on following my heart and vision – can’t wait to see what 2016 brings for me.
